Political consultant Frank Schubert, who led the YES on 8 campaign, will not rule out a future recall of California Supreme Court Justices, should they overturn Proposition 8. Given another opportunity to demur on a recall, Schubert had this to say:
"We are going to be in a discussion very soon about things to get ready for a new battle," he said.
Schubert took pains to distance the official Yes on 8 campaign from talk of ousting Supreme Court justices. "Any discussion of a recall right now is unnecessary and premature," he said.
The judiciary looks very askance at threats to its independence, especially when issued by parties with cases before them. I wonder if Chief Justice Ronald George is paying attention to the pattycake Prop 8 leaders are playing with their supporters on the recall question?

About FDL Action
They talk recall, we talk boycott. And a new, pro-gay ballot measure for 2010. Let’s make sure everyone knows who backed Prop 8 — there’s a reason the LDS doesn’t want their involvement noised about.
And the reason’s initials are — MITT ROMNEY
Are the people out in California willing to fight fire with fire? They should be running ads tearing down the LDS. Expose them as the money behind Prop 8.
Someone with recall?!
Obviously no one from the Bush Admin is involved.
lol
Don’t forget the Knights of Colombus and the rest of Pope Bentdick’s crew.
