Over on her blog, Courtney Love responded to my article at the Huffington Post and wants to make it clear that she wasn’t confused about Prop 8, it was the language of the proposition.
prop 8
Current mood: apoplectic
oh you pretty things!
i voted NO against prop 8 !!!! the kids outside were there to clarify that the language was indeed confusing, and so by the way it was, i think its possible alot of people voting YES on prop 8 thought they were voting AGAINST it
I AM NOT ONE OF THEM
and oer the Huffington Post
ARianna knows me, she knows i am an intelligent and refined woman as anyone who knows me knows…
She posted again just to make her point clear:
clarity
Current mood: anal plugi voted AGAINST proposition 8. i want there to be gay marriage rights passionately.
clear?shall i dress up a giant butt plug and march ? cos if i have time i dammed well will.
Courtney’s Friday blog demonstrates that she was indeed confused about the "voting against" language. It’s fabulous she voted no–more people should have! –and that her public expressions of confusion is prompting so much discussion. Because PropH8 has got to go.
Here’s a screen shot of the first of her three responses, along with long analysis by her of how she has been the victim of a multi-state identity theft ring and embezzled out of a bajillion dollars.
I just hope this isn’t a veiled threat against me!
stop leaning on 1 my shitty grammatical errors and spelling when i blog
and 2 an ancient and horrible soul ruining vanity fair article by a know mysongist and liar who was fired from VF for unethical behaviour, ( the only human being on earth id HAVE to out of DUTY punch HARD if i see her) from way back you possibly dont THINK your doing that but that article has unfurled in the last 15 years like a demonic blossom of hell, resulting in death , detruction tragedy and the theft of 380,000,000 dollars from my family, the largets amount of bank, mortgage and forgery fraud in AMERICAN HISTORY against one family,
Let’s pray Courtney’s financial woes are untangled and she recovers some of that $380,000,000 so she can use a portion of that to help in the fight to restore equal rights to California citizens!
Oh and she’s firm she won’t be taking down Friday’s post.
spelling
Current mood: sockmonkeyand no its not perfect
and n o i am not removing that "blog"
fuck off im going to go write wich is my JOB my DUTY and what i DO.
You go, girl.

Thanks Lisa.
I’m so BUMMED about 8, but not because it directly affects any of my gay friends in Mississippi. I’m pretty sure the religious right has them shut out of every civil right possible around here already.
The silver lining in this loss is the highlighting of the religious elements into our political process. The blowback for Mormons (and religion in total) will continue to mount. They have made themselves a fair target in mounting this assault on human rights in America. Tax churches that participate in politics. End of discussion.
In the longer term, it helps to laugh at them and mock them. It’s not a ‘nice’ way to act, but it’s appropriate. In that spirit, I got to wondering how the religious rightwing is handling the cognitive dissonance over losing in 2008.
My first online poll:
Why did God abandon Palin and the Republicans in 2008?

Enjoy.
I’m glad she cleared that up. I remember seeing something that she voted for it and I thought it was kind of odd.
I have to give her a solid “You ??go? Girl!”
It begs the question, how many other voters might have gotten confused and voted FOR Prop 8 when they actually favor equal marriage rights? Mind you, there was abundant information available to clarify the matter for them PRIOR to voting but for many Americans that is apparently asking too much.
Courtney said she’d dress up like Lieberman!?!?! eeeeewwwww!
why is courtney ‘what’s her name’ love on my computer screen?
what a train wreck.
i’ll stop there, and go make lunch instead. nope, just lost my appetite. think i need a shower instead.

why is courtney ‘what’s her name why is she famous again’ love on my computer screen against my will?
why give her press? i don’t get it.
poor courtney, poor joe-lie.
soooooooo misunderstood /s
bbl hopefully she won’t be on here again.
woohoo — Teddy’s up top with a thread.
that’s a great thought, Lisa. And I totally agree with your thinking but for one glitch. I really don’t think HoLie has a thread of compassion in him. I just don’t think any of that would bother him in the least. He’d just tune it out and keep voting down our vets. There’s simply no soul in there, I’m afraid.
If he were a normal PERSON, a HUMAN type of being, that’d be a working theory.
The idea of Lieberman’s purgatory of touring Veteran’s Hospitals is very appealing and an excellent means for making him face the personal consequences of his impersonal politics. What I don’t understand is why Reid didn’t make Lieberman a take it or leave it offer. If Lieberman lacks the humility to accept the consequences of his betrayals to Democrats, he deserves to be kicked out of the tribe and left alone to fend for himself.
