Over 3000 people took to the street of Los Angeles, beginning at 2pm at the Mormon Temple on Santa Monica Blvd, just south of the UCLA campus while inside the huge gated temple, Mormon men in suits stood guard at the top their sanctuary’s well-watered lawn.
The crowd broke into groups with one portion marching west and then turning north to head to Wilshire Blvd. The rest stayed chanting then with the call of "Marching" they to moved up to Westwood Blvd, shutting down traffic for a mile before joining up with the first group on Wilshire. At post time, marches continue on Wilshire, in front of the temple where there are police in riot gear, and in West Hollywood. We’ll be adding more videos and photos as they come in. ![]()
