NPR just had that in Indiana had that if I heard correctly mail-in votes that were challenged would be set aside and it would be up to the voter to prove their case. At the same time, in a county east of Indianapolis a couple of Republican poll workers had their credentials revoked because they were only challenging Democratic voters. At another polling place where something similar happened the Republican worker fled when he was approached by election officials.

Oh, they’ll be plenty busy plotting against Obama, to impeach him or worse.

Just voted in Los Angeles, Mar Vista area. 3 or 4 times usual number of people voting. They asked me to turn my Obama Tshirt inside out, and I kindly did without fuss. Only took 20 minutes, very organized and line moving well, had provisional ballot info available, 7 stations and one for handicapped voters.

Tomorrow morning on Attaturk should be fun. Marion will serve special food for the early risers and the rest of us can discuss what President-elect Obama should do during his first 100 days in office.

Just brough one of the 4 year old twins (more adventurus one) out to grab some pumpkind soup, the soda store (VICTORY Flying Monkey beer – this is a new one I just found and its great; like Chimey), and to the voting place (I had already been there but I took him through – he got cookies at the bake sale, some flags, a sticker for him and his brother), and then to Obama HQ in Nashua.

Can’t help GOTV since I am working most of the day, but wanted to take part as I could.

He also got to meet on of my favorite state senate Kopka (”Make my day”) since she is always so nice; about 75 years old now. As I say if she ever wants to play hardball just change it to “Go ahead, Make my day.”.

I was thinking about why they didn’t do an absentee ballot for her, given the two days the trip up to Wasilla pulled her off the end of the campaign trial for a photo-op vote. My boss was just in my office chatting about the election. He’s a Savannah native, as are his parents and his wife’s parents. All 4 of the older generation voted for Obama, without either discussing it or really wanting anyone else to know. He, his wife, and their 3 sons also all voted for Obama. He’s now fairly convinced that Georgia will go for Obama, using his parents and in-laws as indicators.
