Rahm is high maintenance and self-aggrandizing. Doubt anyone could control his mouth if he perceived some self-serving angle.

My money says this this story is Rahm’s work and Obama has enough judgment/experience not to inject someone that toxic into his effective and and discreet organization.

We all owe Dr. Howard Dean our gratitude for his fortitude and foresight, i.e his early recognition of Senator Obama as the future of the Democratic Party. His rational approach to the electorate has made the difference we have been praying for. Remember, he was ridiculed and marginalized for his enthusiasm, by the MSM (Vast Right Wing Media) no less. His 50 state plan to reach out to the three digit I.Q. Republicans (those with functioning cerebral cortexes) by respecting them enough to ASK for their vote was the beginning of the changes we seek in our government. Thank you Howard! Today you are vindicated! YEEHAW! Obama/Biden 08!

I love your posits. Rahm is . . . well, I don’t care for his brand of politics.

And anyone who thinks ANY Chief Of Staff is gonna TELL Mr. Obama what to do or when is missing it between BOTH ears.

And we get a REAL dem in Rahm’s place!!! One more step closer . . .

I like the scenario.

But, as was said . . . where did this leak from a few days ago? I’m with the ‘Rahm Leaked It’ brigade.

So given Mr. Obama’s tight control of messaging, we’ll have to hope there’s another way to remove Rahm from our harm’s way and get him a busboy job somewhere . . . .

We should promise to reach out to whomever Republicans are left in 4 years- after we’re done investigating/indicting/prosecuting/incarcerating the organized crime players. Once we’ve put those guys behind bars, the remaining Republicans ought to be docile enough to work with them in a civil manner. They might even thank us for helping to get their party back from the Syndicate.

The last thing the Dems should do is “reach out” to the GOP on anything. S**t, Clinton did that for 8 years, and he got impeached by those guys. Bush didn’t even win the popular vote and was appointed by the Supreme Court. What did he do? He gave the Dems the finger with both hands until 2006, then he gave them the finger with one hand.

If anybody needs to reach across the aisle, it’s the GOP.
