Disguised in a blond wig and in character as Bruno, a gay Austrian fashion reporter who’s the star of another mockumentary, The Bruno Movie Sasha Baron Cohen marched with haters demonstrators who support Proposition 8 ban on same-sex marriage at a rally across from Los Angeles’ City Hall.

I just hope he didn’t turn any of them gay. Cracks me up the way conservatives are scared to death that they’ll be tempted by the gay lifestyle. It must have been very frightening for them to be exposed to “the gay”, as Kit Bond calls it.

Actually, bigotry should be covered by the “-judge not lest ye be also judged,” portion. It’s just something Jesus purportedly said, so some self-described Christians think it’s okay to ignore it.
Exactly! Gayness enriches culture. It’s related to creativity. But that’s probably something the gay hating “christians” are also afraid of.
Didn’t Palin say something to the effect that the U.S. invading Iraq was God’s will? Anyway, it’s not only sex that bothers them, it’s anatomy. The fundies were apoplectic over Janet Jackson’s nipple, an anatomical feature so common that nearly every human sports a pair.

You know I probably shouldn’t have written that because I don’t have a reference to post. But, going back many, many years in my memory from when I studied Human Sexuality at University, I have a vague recollection of studies that linked higher levels of creativity with male?? homosexuality. Also lined with left handedness which has some relationship with creativity, IIRC.
Maybe, if you can’t count them on one hand.
I’m not qualified to discuss the topic but I wonder if possessing some innate characteristic which sets an individual apart from the rest of the herd might not inspire (in some instances) the creative thought process?
Yeah. The studies I remember reading about homosexuality were always careful to note corrolations but not causality.
