CNN reports that the RNC is running robocalls for McCain using Hillary Clinton’s voice, targeting voters in Pennsylvania and Ohio who supported her in the primaries:
I’m calling for john McCain and the RNC. Listen to what Hillary Clinton had to say about john McCain and Barack Obama:
"In the white house there is no time for speeches and on-the-job training. Senator McCain will bring a lifetime of experience to the campaign, and Senator Obama will bring a speech he gave in 2002. I think that is a significant difference."
John King said, "The McCain campaign says it if cannot turn Pennsylvania, it can’t come up with a scenario to get to 270." Meanwhile, Nate Silver gives McCain a 2% chance of a win there.
Lesson learned: Never make invidious comparisons between Republicans and Democrats. "Bipartisanship" is a nice word but it will always come around to bite you in the ass.

Yes, thank you very much Hillary for that one. Lesson: Never say something in a primary campaign that may come back to bite you. Or your party. You might not with the primary – even if you think it is your right.
This is exactly one of the reasons why I (a female) did NOT support Hillary. Her scorched earth policies were not good for her, for the Democratic Party, or for the country.
