Well these folks are expected to be diametrically opposite the folks at the NORTH POLE (Alaska…where Samuel J.Wurzelbacher once lived with his first wife).

After all, the folks at the South Pole are scientists, intimately aware of global warming (and not in denial), and not only can see Russians from their front porch…but can actually go over and have a cup of Postum with them, along with those Socialist Norwegians, Danes, Swedes, Brits, Argentinians, Chileans, and other scientists of diverse backgrounds.

They probably all understand the importance of studies on fruit-fly genetics.

The South Pole is populated largely by scientists, who are the most reality-based community I know of.

We know what the world thinks - and has since the re-election of Bush in 2004. Looking forward to hearing what the U.S. thinks.

Is it Tuesday yet?
