Your example is sexist, not preference. Here is an example for you: A white guy going into downtown Compton, and/or areas of Detroit and expecting to live through it.

So any comment on the 90% African-American vote for Obama? Is that not prejudice?

That’s true, and the best of all possible outcomes is that Martin wins 50%+1 in the general. But if there’s a runoff, the national attention that it garners may well work in favor of Democrats. Assuming that Obama is the president-elect, the “do we really know Jim Martin?” ads are summarily invalidated as character attacks, and a significant portion of the remaining Dem funds are made available for the race, we could have a really intense month of campaigning in GA.

You interchange the word prejudice with preference as if they are the same. Prejudice is stopping the Mexican with an older car for speeding, but letting the old white lady in the Cadillac who just passed him go free.

Whereas preference is a Latina cop letting the old lady go free because the Mexican is a very hot looking guy.

Sorry to disagree but Abso-fu****-lutely not! Under Schumer and Emanuels’ control their respective campaign committees deliberately targeted and supported only those candidates that appealed to their big donors. Those were also the same ‘centrists’ that joined with the Right.

This time Obama and Dean are seeing to it that the money goes directly to those real Democratic candidates chosen by their communities and constituents.
Which DO NOT include candidates of the Independent Party whom Schumer or Emanuel or Van Hollen, Emanuels pick to replace him, or their donors prefer.

We want those Democratic Senate seats and every ass that sits in ‘em to be branded with a big fat “D”, to remind them of who put it there.

Everybody votes their prejudice, which happens to be s survival mechanism. Unfortunately the racial prejudice will be seen in all states, not just the one you are referencing. Also, why is no-one here concerned that 90% of African-Americans are voting for Obama? Is that not a ‘Racial Prejudice’?

I don’t understand why the Democrats didn’t send a letter to this effect to the Republic Party:

Dear Sirs and Madams:

Due to your abundant abuse of the procedure, we have decided to revoke the rule of cloture for this session of Congress. You must now actually filibuster a bill in order to filibuster it.

I am not an expert but I did grow up there.

Come on, on the Palin scale that makes you damn near ex-governor.

Seriously, my mom was from there, and I went to the Univ. of Cincy, so I’ve spent plenty of time in the Bluegrass state.

I know first hand your point re: they vote their prejudices has more often than not been true.
