The McCain campaign says that was the plan all along, you haters.
"With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it’s remarkable that we’re spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses," said spokesperson Tracey Schmitt. "It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign."
Do you think Tracey gets to tell Caribou Barbie and Snowmobiler Todd they have to give the clothes back?

Frigging busted!
Ah, shucks..
Digg is open, Teddy!
So if we see a street person wearing some Saks duds at the local food pantry’s Thanksgiving dinner, we’ll know where they came from? Is that it? Is that all they’ve got?
Oh, damn…no parting gift? What’s she going to wear during her impeachment trial when she gets back to Wasilla? (Do the girls and Todd have to give the clothes back too?)
Hey….wait a minute….was that just a concession by the spokesperson? If they are giving the clothes away to charity what would she be wearing in the White House if they win?
Oh, come now. The clothes will surely be sold after the election at auction, with the proceeds going to charities Republicans love.
This blog post (I admit, it’s a blog to which I subscribe, so sue me) offers some suggestions on what those charities might be.
The links themselves are particularly telling.
There is no way she is going to give those clothes back. They wpuld have to pry them from her cold dead fingers.
