I’m watching CNN. Did Palin really just say that the presidency is no place for on-the-job training?
This from the woman who just said the Vice President is "in charge of the U.S. Senate so if they want to they can really get in there with the senators and make a lot of good policy changes."
Worse than Cheney, if that’s possible.

Good grief.
yep. i saw it – surreal
My very good friend observes that Palin is not a team player. She keeps contradicting what the top of the ticket is saying, over and over again.
She is a back stabber and a loose cannon. She is dangerous.
Jane/All watch Olberman hammer McPalin for inciting violence. Damn

“Every time Sarah speaks we all feel smarter” POP (pissed off Patricia over at Crooks and Liars.
And she’s Kristol’s “project”…heh.
Yesterday Palin brought the sleaze fest to CO – some notes on the potesters

I wonder what Harry Reid thinks about that statement?
not only did she say the presidency is no place for on the job training, as I posted on on my diary, she also wants MORE power then cheney and actually believes “the vice president is in charge of the senate”
man oh man, hang on to hats, they are already flipping votes in the early votes, democrats are already documenting their vote getting switched to mccain and now they are trying to say “exit polls are political”
I think no matter how much we believe we have this rapped up, they are gonna do whatever it takes to steal this election
hang on to hats
I had to link to the link and read it twice. I can’t believe she’s still saying stoopid shit like that. Didn’t anybody tell her after the deabte that she had said stooopid shit about the Vice Presidency? Or is she expressing what they all think, in her own barely articulate way?
I keep hearing what David Ignatius said on the Sunday Chris Matthews show several weeks ago. Senator McCain could “lose his soul”. Seems like that has happened.
He lost his soul to the devil (Karl Rove)
Well, I mean, the papers said ashe had said stoopid stuff. And we know she reads the NYT. It was in TeeeVeee, too. Maybe not FOX, though.
Not in front of TV – was that statement made to a reporter or at a rally?
All the negatives of Cheney and Quayle.
See this

He lost his soul to unfettered ambition a long time ago. What has been perceived as a soul since has been a PR gimmick
And Kristol’s projects always turn out so well.
Paylin’s Mrs. Potatoe Head.
Doesn’t matter – she is saying stupid shit to stupid shits.

Palin’s a stupid fuck !!!
I learned about separation of power in junior high school, where the hell has this dumb ass been!!!
Lotta awesomeness in The City Beautiful yesterday. Hillary, Barack, Bill Nelson (retch). And looooooooong lines at early voting.
cheney IS as dumb as quail, he just uses a tone of voice that makes him SOUND smart, he is not the brightest bulb at all
Is she smarter than a fifth grader???
Her ridiculousness knows no bounds. all I hear when she opnes her mouth is noise..nothing coherent. She is truly the joke that keeps on giving. if we are all lucky, she will continue to talk herself into irrelevance and obscurity.
Republican Party Platform:
1. Praise God & worship money
2. Bear false witness
3. Freedom, Freedom, Freedom
4. Kill! Kill! Kill! (except the unborn)
Have I missed anything?
no
this has been another episode…
but…but…he put together all those great thinkers at PNAC and came up with the grooviest plan to rule the world, doncha know.
LTBB Leave the bigots behind
She is the old cliche, updated: It’s like imPalin yourself in the head with a fork, it only feels good when you stop.
yes, they want to kill kill kill the unborn also, their polices create MORE tean pregnancy not less, that makes for more abortion not less
Palin release your health records!
NO Dumber than dumb can be! Like SHE is ready to be prezident… So is jack Rabbit!
And, all the positives of what, a moosedresser?
Bigots will be all that is left of the Republican party after this election.
Hey she is of the unDEAD there are no Records!
Man, if these motherfuckers steal the election, there will be riots in major cities across this country. I’m hoping Obama’s victory is so crushing that any electronic manipulation becomes meaningless. I’m also trusting Obama’s Chicago politics backgound has taught him to get down in the mud and fight dirty when the circumstances require it.
How about Crusader Rabbit?
OH OH OH OH please Please!
She continues to push the outer limits of stupidity.
JUST so there is a reference in the record of NON-(maybe)-partisan input to her campaign, here’s a link to a short document she probably needs to read before her next foray into the deep end:

I know you hear it all the time…but this is a must watch
But but Alaska is no. 1 – in rapes

mccain’s health record is MUCH more important then hers
why are we on palin’s health record lately?
and incest and home to the meth capital of the u.s.
How ironic that when she loses and has to return to the tundra she will do so to fewer supporters.
Will she have any idea of what her responsibility is to the demise of the R’s? Not to mention all the hatred she has sown, fanned, encouraged?
And, no, I won’t feel sorry for her.
I break the remaining Republican hardliners into four groups:
1. The Rich. Those who have actually benefited from the Bush Administration; why would they vote against McCain? He promises more of the same.
2. The Stubborn. They cannot, will not, and are incapable of admitting any decision in the past was wrong (like a vote for George Bush), and would not entertain the idea of opening a door to that argument by voting for Barrack Obama.
3. The Stupid. The kool-aid drinking brown shirters who will always flock to an authoritarian figurehead. Ain’t nothin’ for it with these folk. They are lost to reality.
4. The Bigoted. These people might actually stand the best shot of being reclaimed if this is their only problem. If they aren’t, also, a member of the Stupid group, they might put aside racial prejudice in order to make a better world for themselves, selfishly, but that is the nature of prejudice.
Both it is very odd that she is also refusing to release her health records
Hey wait a minuet Alaska can’t be meth capitol there aren’t enough people in Alaska to make up a decent size city… just percentages of course unless the methheads are now over 50% of the population!!
But that is the real amerika
Ewwwww, it’s just too true. What you said.
I have a cousin who lives up there. She fits the Palin profile to a T.
I wouldn’t even try to have a dialog with that one!
Seriously.
is it something to do with her pregnancy maybe?
This Just In: Sarah Palin Still Doesn’t Freaking Know What The Vice President Does
BT at the mothership
like, maybe there wasn’t a pregnancy?
and that earlier vice president…Nixon.
“…that one!”
LOL
aha, I beat bt to the punch
palin actually wants to run the senate and plans on making policy changes since “the vice president is in charge of the senate”
scary
Another great Repub VP nominee…

Always funny how Repubs whine on and on about affirmative action saying, “People should be hired by their qualifications and work ethic!!” They get visibly angry when talking about this in relation to a factory or clerical job, yet they constantly support the most mediocre politicians, even for the most powerful jobs in the world (or potentially most powerful like VP). Their hypocrisy on this and practically every other issue is astounding.
The many ways that Weekly Standard wacko’s love Sarah
Loathing Sarah Palin
The Two Months Hate of feminists.
by Joseph Epstein
“The daughter of a dear friend of mine used to say of her mother, “I sense her rage.” Of course when the daughter said this, my friend’s rage would only increase. Suggesting that liberal women feel rage over Sarah Palin is, similarly, likely only to enrage them all the more. But rage in their reaction to Governor Palin is emphatically what I do sense on the part of liberal women–that and delight in any attempt to humiliate her. (Tina Fey, take a bow, and, hey, let’s watch that Katie Couric YouTube interview one more time!) I wonder if the women who loathe Sarah Palin with such intensity oughtn’t perhaps to reexamine the source of their strongly illiberal feelings.”

Sarah Palin’s Future
Alaska’s most valuable resource.
by Fred Barnes
10/27/2008, Volume 014, Issue 07
“Palin’s appeal is not that hard to define. She’s neither outspoken nor eloquent. And the conservatism she espouses is fairly conventional. It’s who she is–her story, her biography–that has stirred fascination and enables her to connect with voters. She’s a mother of five, a serious Christian, a tough-minded governor of Alaska, a fearless slayer of (male) political bigwigs, a beauty queen, a hunter. Palin, as best I can describe it, exudes a kind of middle-class magnetism. It’s subdued but nonetheless very powerful.”

I just happened to watch KO the night he ripped McNasty
Gave him both barrels that night!!!
Palin may get hit with a stump when she returns home
http://mudflats.wordpress.com/…..oopergate/
yep
you have my sympathies
If you close your eyes and listen to Sarah (some of us do not need to close our eyes) you know a man could not get away with what Sarah is getting away with (well Bush is damn close). Do I want to see a woman with the intellect of Hillary Clinton become Pres or V.P.? Hell yes (although I hate Hillary’s yes vote for the 2002 war resolution and the Kyl Lieberman legislation last fall.
As Chris Matthews said comparing Palin with Clinton is like comparing the building of “igloos to the Empire State Building” Clinton is formidable Palin wears a form fitting bra.
Ah, you are a clever girl. Picked up on that, didja?
She really did have a shot gun wedding. My uncle stood over them with his, for a photo op. He was one of my favorite uncles.
Nice catch. That needs a BIG headline.
Sarah is doing exactly what she was hired to do — keep everyone on the edge of their seats, distracted from the megafleecing of the People’s Treasury, the final coup. It matters not one iota that she’s not qualified. When the repugs take the white house, or refuse to give it up for whatever reason, both mccain and palin will just be the mouthpieces of the new regime run by the corporations.
ok. that’s my conspiracy theory and worst nightmare.
I’m hoping it ain’t so.
Our country believes what it sees on teevee. Yet, even so, most people listen to her and realize she is an idiot. She doesn’t know how to answer planned questions, and she doesn’t know how to answer spontaneous questions.
We have never had this kind of maroon before. Sorry, I forgot the idiot reagan and his mommy.

raq cabinet seeks changes to U.S. troops pact
Tue Oct 21, 2008 10:33am EDT
BAGHDAD (Reuters) – Iraq’s cabinet decided on Tuesday to seek changes to a draft pact agreed with Washington to allow U.S. forces to stay in Iraq until 2011, government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said.
“The cabinet has agreed that necessary amendments to the pact could make it nationally accepted,” Dabbagh told Reuters.
“The cabinet will continue its meetings (in coming days), in which ministers will give their opinions and consult and provide the amendments suggested. Then this will be given to the American negotiating team.”
The announcement was an apparent reversal for Baghdad, which had previously described the draft as a final text. It was agreed last week after months of painstaking negotiations.
