Someone has to call McCain and the Republicans on the talk of redistribution of wealth that the Joe thing got them started on. Even their supporters should be able to see that they redistributed our wealth to Iraq, Afghanistan, and every large bank corporation, and every stock brokerage. They by their policies have us still sending 700 billion to other for oil. Us and our children are mortgaged to about forty thousand in debt. They took our money and gave it to other Countries. Even if Obama wanted to spead it around at least it would be for our people and our Country.

A few months ago, he said on his CNN show that he won’t rule out running for president. He says he is an Independent…I think he sounds suspiciously like a Republican.

I dunno. I live in Queens. I’m constantly amazed by what people who don’t live in Queens process as “ethnic”

I’m far and away the most “ethnic” person connected to my husband’s midwestern family by virtue of my grandparents spending twenty or so years in northern italy before they came over to die of old age here.

Sounds like one of the Sopranos guys. Do you believe McCain is indignant how everyone is bothering Joe/Sammy now? McCain should produce reality shows after he is defeated! He has the gift.

And though Letterman was masterful pressing McCain about himself and Palin, I suspect McCain helped himself with one more “shucks.. I screwed up…” apology to Dave and everyone admires how strong he is to cop to stuff in that macho cute way, without breaking a sweat. AGGGHHHHHHH! And Gordon Liddy has paid his dues and McCain is proud of that “pal around”, but get the pitchforks after Ayers whom Obama doesn’t even pal around with, but is doing good works!

The genius of it all is … Ayers gets no credit for his good works. And when Obama denies being Muslim and running for President … he subtley invalidates Muslims … who are NOT equal to being terrorists by being Muslim … and it would be okay if Obama were but he is NOT! But the fear-mongering works using Obama’s denials, even. It gets all so “tails you lose, heads I win” when you are dealing with bottom feeding scum suckers. Corporate media considers it all gamesmanship. Morality/Integrity blind commentary. Those declaring they are wielding morality (Christian right authoritarians) are the most amoral/immoral of all!

Bitch “the real Virginia” doesn’t have any electoral votes, hein?

I really don’t think they can count on the number of people they need to vote their prejudices over their pocketbooks and their kids’ futures, particularly with all the economic villains they have to explain away.

The politics of sociopathology. Even Letterman calling McCain out and he blandly looks him and America in the eye and denies he and Palin are inciting racism. And throws the ritualistic Rovian hissy fit of defensiveness which is crazymakingly since he is underscoring the very stuff HE not Obama is perpetrating and demanding Obama apologize. Rachel used the “s” (”like a sociopath”) word about Palin when Palin asserted the Alaskan report gave her a CLEAN exoneration from abuse of power.

Where did I read lately, “loyalty is not a replacement for character.” In moderation it can be a moral choice. But it seems like loyalty to religion, to party, to celebrity candidate, to whatever work or family community you are in, to generous lobbyists, to tv stations, to sports teams, etc. … is replacing individual thought and morality. Group think truly STINKS in America.

Joe <strike>Six</strike> the Plumber is not even named Joe. Sigh.
