28 Days is a Sandra Bullock movie about rehab. Not a zombie movie. That’s not to say it wasn’t horrific.

28 Days Later was the original, and 28 Weeks Later was its excellent sequel.

I’ll take up whether or not these are zombie movies with McCain.

How could I possibly flip-flop on torture? I’m against torture. I said we have to stop it. I said water-boarding is torture. I fought the administration tooth and nail about that. I have no idea how someone could say I’m not against torture.

McCain for so many years got dubbed a “maverick” by the press for speaking out against the GOP position, even if, with a few exceptions, he didn’t follow through with the hard work of actually getting it changed. Now he’s just bewildered because he says proudly that he spoke out about something, and no one’s impressed.

(blushing) Thank you so much. I can’t take complete credit. The initial post was infinitely improved by everyone’s comments and questions that pushed me to go out, find more articles and information. My motivator was the story about AIG throwing themselves a big party and securing their management’s bonuses from the bailout..I remembered the NY Times story I’d read with Spitzer’s comments about AIG in it. That struck a nerve…but it was everyone else pushing that made it so much better. I appreciate so much how EW does her thing — she pulls everything together at one time and puts it out there…pristine, perfect..amazing. But thank you so much; very much appreciated.
