Jonathan Miller buries the lead his story about Sarah Palin’s debate prep routine. In the closing paragraphs, he reveals that in an as yet unaired clip of Palin’s interview with Katie Couric, the governor was unable to discuss a single Supreme Court besides Roe v. Wade.
After noting Roe vs. Wade, Palin was apparently unable to discuss any major court cases.
There was no verbal fumbling with this particular question as there was with some others, the aide said, but rather silence. [Politico]
If Palin were elected Vice President and the Republicans regaind control of the Senate, Palin would have the nuclear option at her disposal–a procedural move open to the presiding officer of the Senate to end a filibuster with a majority vote. The last time the nuclear option was on the table was when Bill Frist threatened to use it to stop Democrats from filibustering judicial nominees.

That’s the only case that matters to her and her constituency.
Palin also just discovered Alaska was part of America and not Canada as she had always thought. She’s a little slow on these things!
Not even Marberry vs. Madison? Munn vs. Illinois? Plessy vs. Ferguson? Brown vs. the Board of Education? She would have flunked my high school civics class.
Nor did she even know any of the cases that involved Alaska while she was Governor, one decided just this summer.
Exxon vs. Baker
Or here’s a real simple one for her to recall
Alaska vs. The United States
Even Bush recalled the Dred Scot case (though he utterly discombulated its meaning).

Or one that should be reala easy to remember because of their names http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_v._Gore ">Bush vs. Gore
Ladys’ a maroon!
I wouldn’t expect her to know Ledbetter v. Goodyear, naturally.
