Forget the nuclear football — how would Palin be as a steward of the economy?
Palin herself may not be the most authoritative spokesperson on such issues. In the past, when she was running for Alaska governor, she freely admitted to a reporter that she got a "D" in macroeconomics in college.
One wonders how she will hold up under intense grilling from the press over the current financial meltdown:
What precise reforms would Palin like to make, to better protect US investors? Unfortunately there’s no way of knowing for sure. The candidate is not taking questions from the press.
I know he’s kind of desperate, impulsive and willing to do anything to get elected, but McCain quite literally saddled the campaign with someone who is worse than Bush.
Superb timing.

One thing I’d like to know: with all the tax cuts, and with all the $$$ going to Iraq and the latest bunch of financial orphans [Fannie, Freddie, Bear Sterns,et al.], where is the MONEY coming from to effect these [and future] bailouts?
Most likely it’s coming from The Peoples Republic of China.
