I hope they don’t let him drive any NASCARs.

People are dying because of an enormous hurricane and John McCain goes to a car race.

And your point about Alaska’s economy running contrary to McCain’s ideas on copr taxes needs to be brought to light. Didnt Alaskans receive a nice $1200 heck each thanks to plucky hocky mom negotiating with Big Oil when she stepped into office.

I am deeply opposed to offshore and Alaskan drilling, and there needs to be checks and balances in place to handle displaced voters both from Ike and from foreclosures.

Hopefully Obama and Biden will respond to the Palin nomination by upping the ante…pointing out that she comes from a State that essentially taxes the wazoo out of corporations. That Palin’s Alaska raises 95% of their revenue from taxes on oil and gas companies. That Palin’s Alaskan economy is in direct opposition to the “McCain” program…and then say “we’re gonna take that plan of a REAL Republican Maverick, the late Alaska Governor Jay Hammond…who taxed oil and gas companies for extracting the States natural resources.

It’s time we made these companies pay their fair share…and stop “drilling” US while making billions in profits.

Then he needs to attack the GOP for their efforts to disenfranchise millions of voters who face eviction due to the foreclosure crisis that THEY created! They need to stop using foreclosure lists to determine who has been forced from their homes. That t is morally wrong to challenge the vote of someone who was legally registered, and because of being forced from their home haven’t had enough time to reregister in time to vote.

Tell them that the Obama-Biden campaign would try to re-register as many of these people as possible and go through neighborhoods to determine where this was an issue.

Foreclosure Hot Spots

But he needs to challenge McCain to say that he will stop the immoral GOP practice of challenging people who were legally registered but have recently changed residence. That the Republicans need to pull their “challengers” out!

Tina Fey is SO good in this, Obama ought to have her do some “fake” commercials where she says what she really thinks. Y’know, some “caught on tape” “backstage” snarking between her & Darrel Hammond as McCain about how they’ve really pulled one over on the public & the media.
