Palin is an accurate guage of the pandemic ignorance of the people and the one third of them or whatever who actually vote in this country, and as Bill Maher and many others have said the Republicans embrace of her underscores the extreme cynicism of people who damn well know better. </p> <p>The woman is not running for American Idol or to rule over a house full of idiots in Big Brother–Les Moonves’ wife’s little project.</p> <p>She is not what is wholesome about hockey moms. She is the part of hockey moms that is systemically ignorant on foreign and domestic affairs. She may be able to raise a family without them becoming physically destroyed.
