“PMSing With The End Of Daze”

Congress had better fall into line under President Palin, or she’ll just be delighted to nuke the planet and meet her maker.

“I’ve got my finger on the button right now, Senator, are you sure you won’t change your vote?”

FUCKING WHACK-JOBS:

“President Bush said to all of us: ‘I’m driven with a mission from God. ‘God would tell me, ‘George, go and fight those terrorists in Afghanistan’.” “And I did, and then God would tell me, ‘George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq…’ And I did.

Secretary of State Rice’s response to the disaster in New Orleans was: “The Lord Jesus Christ is going to come on time.” She added: “If we just wait.” “On time”? How does Rice know the exact time Armageddon starts? “If we just wait”? That means in her, that is our, lifetime!

“At Church one day [Tom DeLay, House Majority Leader] listened as the pastor declared that ‘the war between America and Iraq is the gateway to the Apocalypse.’ DeLay rose to speak, not only to the congregation but to 225 Christian TV and radio stations. ‘Ladies and gentlemen,’ he said, ‘what has been spoken here tonight is the truth of God.’”

They insist that they want to see the End Of Days during their life times, and have the ability to accomplish their insane goal.

When Sarah found out the teen was pregnant by high schooler Levi Johnston, she was actually banished from the house. As part of the cover-up, Palin quickly transferred Bristol to another high school and made her move in with Sarah’s sister Heather 25 miles away!

http://www.nationalenquirer.co.....rity/65407

If in fact the foregoing is true (always worth asking given the Enquirer’s track record), then let’s do the math and examine the behavior of the mother to learn her own tendencies and values. If her daughter was actually banished from her own home and sent to Heather’s to “coverup” the truth, this is indicative of what? Willingness to lie and coverup - in the extreme? How extreme? That is a question the public deserves an answer to. How does that square with this from the New York Times?

“Our beautiful daughter Bristol came to us with news that as parents we knew would make her grow up faster than we had ever planned. As Bristol faces the responsibilities of adulthood, she knows she has our unconditional love and support,”

the Palins said.

I guess unconditional love includes banishment, lying and covering up the shame. Are you learning anything about Ms. Palin the elder?

Two weeks ago, Bristol was said to have been out of school for five months with mono. On what date did she actually stop going to school? School’s been out for summer for over three months, so nailing down that date is useful. When did she move in with Heather?

According to comments from classmates and other members of the community, Bristol Palin was out of school during what would have been the last trimester of the governor’s pregnancy due to a bad case of mono. A case so severe, according to the Palin family, Bristol missed nearly 5 months of school.

We were told a week ago that Bristol is five months pregnant.

On March 5th, 2008, Sarah Palin told her co-workers that she was seven months pregnant. They were said to be shocked, as she showed virtually no signs of being pregnant. Bristol was out of school in the same time frame as Sarah’s third trimester.

Something doesn’t add up here.

We’re asked to believe that Bristol had a case on mono so severe that it caused her to miss five months of school, during which time she had sex and got pregnant.

Having had mono, I can tell you that this didn’t happen. You can lie about the mono or you can lie about the pregnancy, but lying about both doesn’t work. Propensity-To-Lie is a valid campaign issue.

So she had a severe case of mono, during which she had sex and was kicked out of the house, moved in with her aunt, pregnant, with mono, as a sign of her parents unconditional love?

Got it, Madam Vice President. Now tell us about Iran’s WMD program again.

The Palins made their children a campaign issue. You can’t hold one up as a sign of your pro-life position and hold the other one up to demonstrate your support for the war, and then tell the American People that talking about your family is off limits.

I was looking for a formulation that Christians might identify with. Can you point out where the philosophy of Christianity differs from my caricature?

I just think dems should know what her religious beliefs are before they decide how to respond.

The mainstream media haven’t been getting the message out.

I grew up among evangelicals, and I’ve spent decades with them, in and out of my family, since. I’ve sat through the clip of Palin speaking at her old Assemblies church several times. And I think the great mass of liberals for whom all of this is a second or eighth language need to stop hyperventilating.

I don’t fault anyone for worrying about the religious motivations of candidates on the right. But grilling someone on their religious beliefs is just plain inappropriate, whether the right is doing it to our guys or we’re doing it to them. And most Americans are just not going to be as freaked out by Sarah’s church as most of the left blogosphere.

I’m confident, from that clip, that Palin is not another Ashcroft or Cornyn. She no doubt grants intellectual assent to a mish-mash of pretty outlandish notions, but theology is not really one of her big drivers. She doesn’t talk, in that clip, like someone neck deep in prayer and fasting and exorcism and tongues-speaking. She talks like someone who was raised in Pentecostal culture, knows the lingo, knows how to speak it to reassure the congregation she’s on their side. But the buttons she pushes with them are the ones that say “I’m one of you”, not the ones that rouse the mob to get out and attack the infidel. In the context of that sort of congregation, her references to God are as bland as any of Eisenhower’s appeals to American civil religion.

It’s much of a piece with her self-presentation at the GOP convention: she’s a chameleon who smoothly takes on the coloration of the current tribe. (For the GOPers, that meant she had to devote considerable energies toward rousing and feeding their hatred and anger and resentment. But by all Alaskan accounts, that’s not her usual style at all. It’s just what that particular tribe requires in order to be reassured anyone is really like them.)

She’s a disaster for many reasons: incurious, impetuous, fiscally imprudent, an enemy of the environment, a glib and prolific liar, theocratic on abortion, ignorant of science. But deep-running religious fanaticism isn’t one of those reasons, and if Dems make any concerted attempt to alarm voters about her religious beliefs, it will roll off her back and blow up in our faces.

Elect these two 16th century minds, and look forward to the 21st Century version of the Inquisition, if they don’t nuke us into extinction first.
So, unless you belong to the lipstick-packin’ pitbull’s whacko cult, vote to defeat them.

For those of you concerned about this, put your mind at ease. The only real authority around has this to say about it:

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I Thes.5:[2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

II Pet.3:[10] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

What that all means is that anyone who says they know when it’s all going to end, is full of crap. And they are LYING! They can’t make it so just because they want it to be.

Oh, BTW, you don’t want to be here! I estimate the earth is going to look like a somewhat lumpy cue ball.

Additionally, Jesus himself states that (I paraphrase) “…no one knows when the end comes but the Father in heaven.”

Most of these end timers who believe that the Second Coming will occur in their lifetimes are afraid of their own deaths. No way around that.

“…for those who think that deaths’ honesty
won’t fall upon them naturally
life sometimes must get lonely…”
