Depending upon your definition of "contributes."
Seriously, I am glad everyone is doing their part to make sure this important story–broken in The Real McCain–is covered. How much have we been forced to hear about idiotic issues like flag lapel pins? So thanks to the Public Service Administration guys and gals (who are comics based in LA–and obviously quite talented as you can see)
Btw this is the work-safe version. There is a non-bleeped version here. Be warned, it has more c-words than McCain on the campaign trail for a week.

I can’t stop laughing!
McShitForBrains supports the troops.
As of today icasualties.org shows 4101 US military KIA Irak.
Very nice unedited vid. Extremely funny wordplay, Punaise would be proud. Thanks Cliff.
It’s just the start of the 100 years in Iraq. That number may not even end up being significant. Besides, no Bushes are at risk; the members Royal family are all safe, happy, and possibly self medicated. It all comes down to that big old Cheney “So?”.
In So Cal, they are reporting that gays are now marrying! Flee! Flee!
No doubt that this will soon be another McCain/Republic idiotic issue.
WooHoo!
Ever hear the joke about the two soldiers hanging out after a particularly nasty battle in the first year of the 100 Years War back in about 15th century Europe?
I forget the whole set-up, but, basically, the one guy says, Man, we gotta get outta here! The other guy replies, No, we can’t, got 99 years to go!
My pleasure Quebecois
Yeah, that is really, really good stuff….
Love it, thanks, Cliff.
I’m wondering how to word this in a submission to Digg!.
“John McCain called his wife a c*nt” would be short and pithy.
Fantastic……….. send a link to all the “meat heads,” as Archie B., would say! Rational associations…..
Five battle years off the wall, Five battle years off the wall, take one down pass it around… 95!!! battle years on the wall…
How many names on the “Iraq War Memorial” “W?”
Hi Cliff –
A while back, I got an email with a 50 point smear of Obama. This was forwarded to everyone in the senders email list, and the emails were visible for everyone to see.
Wouldn’t it be an interesting citizen action to put together a similar list taken from the Real McCain — which could then be sent to as many wing nut email lists we can find?
It’s not so much that we want to convert them to Obama supporters (although that would be nice) — but peeling the maverick and straight talk veneer off McCain’s lobbyist-tool-war-for-evah hypocrisy-express might keep them home in November.
“she’s not even black” lmao!
and Cliff, looks like some of our “good friends” in the press are starting to pick up The Reform Institute scent – bwaahaaahaaa! (my personal fave)
of course they’re painting it as a group that “muddies” his message, again like he was just standing there all saintly and shit and this entity just happens to come along and cause him trouble – lol
keep digging my good friends !

Wow, I can see why there is a “work safe” version. But just wondering something, how many hours a day are wasted by people who surf the internet? I was never a boss, but I was taught from a very young age that when I got paid for doing a job, I was to give that job 100% effort, and that while on my employers time, everything that I did belonged to that employer. So that is what I did for my entire working life. It is but one reason why I was able to retire-to a very comfortable life- when I was only 48 years old. There were many people who worked at the same place I did, but did not apply themselves, or wasted as much time on the job as they could. Work 1 hour and screw off 7. Those people are now well over 60, yet they are still “working”. Or are many of the jobs that are staffed really less than part time jobs. One of my daughters had such a job, only until she called me while she was at work, and I asked her how she had enough time to do that while on the clock, she told me she spent about 6 hours a day on the phone to friends and relatives, and used a company phone to call her twin who lived several states away. After I explained, once more, how you are not only cheating your employer but also cheating yourself by not working for the entire time, and after she told me that her job only took about 2 hours a day, I suggested that she go look for a job that better utilized her talants, where she would not be bored and that would have actual work to do. She did, and within 6 weeks found a job that she had to work hard at for 8 hours a day. That was almost 5 years ago. She tells me that time goes by so fast that it seems that it is time to go home almost before she realizes it. That was the way I worked for 28.5 years, take a job, do it to the best of your ability, and don’t screw off while working because you are cheating your employer. Is it only people in my generation that believe that?(I am 58) Don’t people believe that anymore? Or do employers expect so little of their employees that they give them only jobs that can, if one works hard, be done in only 1 hour a day. Have we gotten that lazy? Do we no longer take pride in our work? I know some garbage men who have been working at their jobs for 30+ years, and take pride in their jobs, and work hard at them. Is it only people who do manual labor who actually work and take pride in their jobs these days? Excuse the rant, but people who do not do an honest days work for an honest days pay really piss me off. Becausethey are lazy someone else has to pick up the slack, and unfortunately, the slackers are rarely fired.
my goodness that was funny
hi timr –
I’m 58 too, but I’m also self employed — and most of my work is in front of the computer. For me, blog surfing is a stress management tool. I’m not sure whether it increases or decreases stress, but it keeps me informed.
But I agree with you on the concept of employees putting in work in exchange for the paycheck — but from my own experience, little breaks to refresh the brain are an important part of maintaining productivity. And in the world of Dilbert, cubicle grunts are given little respect by their corporate overlords — is it any surprise the workers hold their employers in the same esteem?
is that a cameo by atrios?
Actually, I remember reading something by Digby (?). I guess a group with the anacronym C**NT went on (CNN, MSBNC, who cares) to talk about Clinton. So I feel the mainstream media hypocrites might as well slip the word into a story on McCain. After all, it’s only right for us women to knwo what he thinks of us, never mindthe wife.
Interesting idea. Would love it if people took the initiative on something like that. It would seem a bit biased coming from me….
Wow. How long did it take you to type all that up?
Can’t get the link to work. Did YouTube pull it?
Breaking: McCain tells Cindy she has 72 more years of service until she can apply for GI Bill.
This one still works: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Euu_DMhsXQo
So that is what I did for my entire working life. It is but one reason why I was able to retire-to a very comfortable life- when I was only 48 years old.
Thus giving you many more satisfying years of telling kids to get offa your lawn.
